How to Improve Insulation in your Home

While it is easy to seal up holes, some insulation activities such as blown-in and sprayed insulation are best done by professional installers. An new type of insulation that it is safe to use, non-toxic, and doesn’t require protective clothing is a Reflective Staple Tab Insulation. Easy to install, just staple to rafters or joists.

While insulating your attic is easy, there is a difficult spot to insulate. The problem area is where either the attic ladder or the hatch access to your attic is located. Lack of insulation in your attic access area allows heat to escape in cold weather and hot air to enter into your home in the warm months. This is uncomfortable and wasteful. However, there is a solution. Install an Attic Ladder Access Cover or Standard Pull Down Ladder Kit. It fits over the attic access opening.
